Harriet Everest, Portrait Sculptor

Harriet Everest studied Fine Art at Newcastle University, majoring in sculpture.  She continued to sculpt part-time whilst working at Sotheby's, Bonham's and Matthiesen Fine Art.  During this time, Harriet completed several portrait commissions of both adults, children and dogs, working in clay and casting in bronze, cement, resin and plaster or firing in terracotta.  Her work has been exhibited with the Society of Women Artists and the Royal Society of British Artists at the Mall Galleries, the Chelsea Art Society, the Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle, Sotheby's in Bond Street, London and Salmon&C gallery at the Milano Internazionale Antiquariato.

Harriet has also completed several master classes with the Society of Portrait Sculptors with Brian Taylor, Etienne Millner and Clive Duncan.  She was awarded the Society of Portrait Sculptors' 2010 Masterclass prize for her sculpture of 'Lisa'.
